Appleton Estate
Appleton Estate, in the Nassau valley of Jamaica, has the perfect clime and ideal soil for growing sugar canes, the raw material of rum.
Its rich natural resources also contribute to the taste and character of its rum.
The yeast used to ferment the distillate comes from sugar canes grown at the estate.
The natural aquifer and the soft limestones of the area provide exceptionally pure and soft water.
The rum is produced in copper stills of unique design, in small batches and based on a traditional, very slow distillation method.
Appleton V/X, Appleton Estate Master Blender'Legasy and Appleton Estate 8 Years are select mixtures of aged rum, each one of which adds its own characteristics to the mixture, contributing to its complexity and supremacy.
Appleton Estate 8 Years, Appleton Estate 12 Years, Appleton 21 Years and Appleton Estate 30 Years have their age printed on their labels. According to Jamaican law, that means that they have aged in oaken barrels for at least as many years as are mentioned on the label.
All these elements distinguish the Appleton Estate Jamaica Rums from all other rums of their class.
